During the last week of October, in the Complementary Hour, all the groups have participated in activities related to one of our favourite festivities: HALLOWEEN!

Durant l'última setmana d'octubre, a l'extraescolar  Complementary Hour, tots els grups d’Educació Infantil i Primària hem preparat i participat en activitats relacionades amb una de les nostres festivitats preferides: HALLOWEEN!

One of the activities that we have enjoyed and experienced the most is: THE COOKING WORKSHOPS. On October 31st, we all became little chefs. During this day we were able to approach to English language, knowing vocabulary related to materials and ingredients, in order to have fun and snack together.

Una de les activitats que més hem gaudit i vivenciat han sigut els TALLERS DE CUINA. La vesprada del dia 31 d'octubre, per a finalitzar la setmana, tots ens vam convertir en cuiners i cuineres. Durant aquest dia vam poder aproximar-nos a la llengua anglesa, coneixent i manipulant materials i ingredients, amb la finalitat de divertir-nos i berenar tots junts.

The smallest children created spooky ghosts, using bananas and chocolate. With the help of the teachers we cut them and add the chocolate chips to form the scary face of the ghosts.

Els més xicotets d'infantil crearen uns fantasmes que feien vertadera por, utilitzant bananes i xocolate. Amb ajuda de les teachers, els tallaren i afegiren els trossets de xocolate per a formar la cara de por dels fantasmes.

Groups who are four and five years old dared to create terrifying mummies: they spread tomato sauce on a slice of bread, then they add strip cheese and black olives to recreate the eyes.

Els grups de 4 i 5 anys d'Educació Infantil es van atrevir a crear unes mòmies terrorífiques molt apetibles: untaren tomaca en un tros de pa de sàndwitx, li afegiren formatge a tires i olives negres per a recrear els ulls.

The kids who are in Primary groups demonstrated their experience in the kitchen, like the great cooks! Some of their creations were bloody jaws with cookies, strawberry jam and sweets.

Els grups d’Educación Primària van ser autèntics valents i van demostrar la seua experiència en la cuina, com els grans cuiners i cuineres! Algunes de les seues creacions van ser mandíbules sagnants amb galetes, melmelada de maduixa i dolços.

Other groups created yummy witch brooms using cheese and bread sticks and other teams dared with very special pumpkins using tangerines and chocolate!

Altres grups van crear saboroses graneres de bruixa amb gran enginy, formatge i sticks de pa, i altres equips es van atrevir amb unes carabasses molt especials utilitzant mandarines i xocolate!

The cooking workshops at school allow us to enjoy very special situations, we have the opportunity to experience unusual activities carried out through a foreign language in order to have fun together!

Els tallers de cuina en el col·legi ens permeten viure situacions molt especials, on experimentem activitats poc comuns mitjançat l'ús d'una llengua que no  és la nostra, però sobretot divertint-nos tots junts!
